About me
Angela Asch focuses her research on CSBA’s policy pillars: Conditions of Children and Effective Governance. At CSBA, Angela has authored briefs, fact sheets, blogs, conducted focus groups, and presented on school safety, positive school climate, student and staff mental health and well-being, arts education, and ethnic studies. Before joining CSBA, she worked on program implementation and project management for statewide public health organizations in Sacramento and Yolo counties. She holds a Master of Arts in Child Development, and a Bachelor of Arts in Family and Consumer Sciences with an emphasis on Nutrition from California State University, Sacramento. She has served on the Sacramento City USD LCAP Parent Advisory Committee, Woodland Joint USD Career Technical Education Advisory Committee and as a school site council member at David Lubin Elementary School in Sacramento.
