About me
Dr. DeRenzo started his career in 1995 as a Ceramics Lab Technician at Citrus Community College while earning his B.A. from Azusa Pacific University. He taught middle and high school at Western Christian, covering subjects from pre-algebra to AP art history. He worked in the Chaffey and Moreno Valley districts, earning two master's degrees in Teaching and Administration from APU. He served as a dean of students in Moreno Valley, then as a middle school assistant principal at Fontana. Moving to San Bernardino City Unified, he was a high school vice-principal and small school principal, earning his doctorate at USC. He later held district roles including adult school principal, Director of Instruction, and Assistant Superintendent at Baldy View ROP. Since 2019, he has been the Executive Director of CTE at Riverside County Office of Education and has taught at multiple universities over the past seven years.
