Gayle Garbolino-Mojica, one of California’s longest-serving county superintendents, is recognized statewide for her leadership, advocacy, and commitment to educational excellence. Under her tenure, Placer County students consistently outperform state averages in academic achievement. A past president of California County Superintendents, she has served on numerous state, regional, and local boards, championing public education and community partnerships. Her leadership has earned multiple honors, including the ACSA Superintendent of the Year and Sacramento Business Journal’s Women Who Mean Business Award. A UC Davis graduate, she has served as teacher, principal, and superintendent, and is deeply rooted in Placer County’s civic and educational life.
