About me
Michelle Zevely, current Deputy Superintendent for Butte County Office of Education, has been an educator for the past 32 years, serving as a classroom teacher, special education teacher, Principal, Director, Assistant Superintendent and now as Deputy Superintendent. Since 2014, Michelle has led the Student Programs and Educational Support division for the Butte County Office of Education. Since 2019, Michelle has also served as the lead negotiator for BCOE. Michelle is a strong advocate for alternative education, the proud mother of her two adult children, Char and Jack, and has been married to her best friend and fellow teacher, John, for more than 30 years.
