Roan Louie is the Program Manager of Vocational Education at the Santa Clara County Office of Education, where she oversees the WorkAbility I program. In this role, she supports students with disabilities in gaining pre-employment skills, job training, and access to community-based work experiences. Roan collaborates closely with local businesses and organizations to create meaningful opportunities that promote independence and career readiness. With over 19 years of experience as a special education teacher—ranging from elementary to postsecondary, Roan brings a deep commitment to equity, inclusion, and student empowerment through real-world learning and transition-focused education.
